Alejandro Alcocer is a master of many trades, a classically -trained chef being one, also a restauranteur, furniture designer and artisan. After training in Michelin-starred kitchens across Europe, he moved to New York’s Lower East Side to launch downtown destination Brown Cafe. Along with its catering operation, Green, Brown developed a cult following for its simple, sophisticated approach to seasonal dining. Today, Alejandro splits his time between projects in New York City, Montauk, and Europe.
Chef and artist Fernando Aciar was formally trained under Francis Mallmann in Argentina, before opening his first café at the iconic Rio Academy of Fine Arts. After ten years, he moved to New York City to open Brazilian eatery OCAFE in 2011, and has since been involved in a variety of projects with chefs throughout the city, including Momofuku and Contra. Last year he launched his ceramics label, fefostudio, with a focus on organic, elegant designs for the table.
